How do you fuel your tractor (logistics, not finding the cap to the tank)?

Finally got tired of climbing onto the tractor with a 5 gal can of diesel. Looked around for something to make the job easier. This works real good.

Way back when I was servicing a fleet of trucks those type of containers were used to top off the engine oil they work good, too good. Seems the same container worked good for antifreeze, water, transmission fluid and draining just about anything. Be careful to keep the container segregated so its only used for fuel and not contaminated with all the other stuff that may be tempted to hitch a ride in the container :p

Thanks to a poster on another forum, I found this:

No Spill Fuel Cans

This is the greatest thing since the invention of lubricated condoms.

My tractor has the fuel filler on the hood. This makes filling the tractor much easier, and it doesn't spill a single drop. You can just lay it down on its side and push the button.

I drive up to the pump and start fueling from our 10,000 gallon tank.

I bought mine from Amazon. (I have Amazon Prime, so I get free shipping.) But I noticed that my Tractor Supply is now stocking them.

You win!! :)

You can buy the "No Spill" spouts for $10-$12 on Amazon. Paying $32-$35 for complete can and spout makes no sense if you already have good cans.

I drive mine to the gas station. This is what I use for everything else.
