Name calling. Real intelligent.

Not saying that vince.I buy my oil and Hydro fluid local but I buy my Kioti filters and parts from my local Kioti dealer.I guess I am old school,I like building a good relationship with my local dealer.I am not into internet buying.I believe in a hand shake and a mans word is gospelSo your saying if I don't support my local dealer by getting all my parts there I can no longer get get Kioti parts???
My cars, tractor and motorcycle were all bought at a dealer. I have never been back to any of those dealer for parts.
I can pick up a phone and get parts just fine.

Spread the wealth locally. Why don't you buy everything related to your tractor from the dealer?

This is my plan. Filters and parts from my local dealer. If the local Kioti dealer is comparable on $$ for hydo fluid and/or oil I'll throw him the business. He's not in danger of closing-up-shop, but if Kioti products don't make him some $$$ he might convert to some thing more profitable. He used to sell Cub Cadet and Yanmar. If he switches brands I lose my Kioti support.
As far as accessories and implements ... we'll see. Down the road I see a thumb, box blade/rear blade, tooth bar/wear bar and/or log-skidder .
Actually, I did not know this, thank you for bringing it up. Perhaps more the fool me, but I expected to remove the filters by hand when the time came. I only put them on by hand, so assumed they would come off that way, too.I imagine you already know this but...be sure you have a good filter wrench.

Thanks for the heads up.
My dad taught me at a early age not to debate to long with idiots who don,t understand. They will only bring you down to there level beat you with experience.YOU WIN,LOL.
Yea, he is not kidding. I believe they put them on dry with a cheater pipe. I was a heavy engine mechanic and that is the only reason mine came off the first try, I have a filter wrench with a 1/2" drive and 3" wide strap steel. Still needed a 4' cheater and had to be on the ground off the creeper. Unreal how tight the main hydraulic filter was. CJ
I agree with supporting your dealer especially when the next one is over 60 more miles away , I would like for him to stay in business . I just paid $300 for 10 gal. of super udt oil for my M5700 and over $100 for the 2 filters , come on someone is really making a buck here . I need to stay in business too , I'm retired trying make ends meet too .
Especially when TSC has Rotella Hydraulic fluid for about $65 5 gal pail. And Traveler brand for less $$
.
What options besides the three recommended fluids in the owners manual ( exxonmobil, shell donax, bp tractran uth) are there?Just make sure the hydraulic fluid is "designed for use with wet brakes". Because not all hydraulic fluids are meant to be used in tractors with wet brakes (like yours). Some hydraulic fluids are meant to be used in other hydraulic systems not tractors and do not have the correct additive packages.
