So The wheel is slipping in the tire, no air or rim guard is leaking.. how do I fix this?

Whats the pressure at? Otherwise it sounds like the guy who used something they shouldn't have (unapproved bead lubricant) to mount the tire should be fixing it.

I was just thinking pressure too, I'll have to check it. There OEM tires, mounted by kubota I would think... I bet it's the pressure, never added air in the six years I have had it.

There was a thread started about 2 years ago with the same problem. I think it was on a BX series. The problem was low tire pressure. He aired them up and problem was solved.

Look on the tire for maximum pressure and air it up to that pressure, run it a few days to well seat the tire bead then you can adjust it back down for maximum tire contact to the ground. Max tire pressure might be 25 PSI or higher while best traction might be 12 PSI or thereabouts. Usually the tires are mounted and aired up to max pressure to seat the bead, but if it has been 6 years without checking tire pressures, I am very surprised that you haven't rolled it off the rim already.

Please tell us that you at least checked the pressure...please.

I find that hard to believe -- I have to add air 3-4 times a year (which is about how many times I check).

I have had mine for over four years and did nothing but let air out....for better winter traction, smoother ride. Funny when you think about it. Maybe the DOT will force tractor manufacturers to have TPMS too if I roll mine over when a tire comes off the rim.
