I don't know. I asked him some specific questions and got generic answers.

I know there's a kit made by everything attachments but its $800+

I want a 3rd function but like everything else. Would like the best price I can get. I wouldn't use it often but it would be a lot cheaper than the occasional bobcat rental.

I sell them for $684 shipped to your door. Are you sure that you want a true 3rd function, not just a diverter 3rd function system?

Got a link?

No, send me an e-mail with whatever questions you might have, or ask them here. What do you want to know? :confused3: I supply everything other than the actual valve mount and wire connectors that you might need to connect to your power.

You will get 2 shipments. First with the valve, the Scorpion control grip, QDs in mount and sample measuring hose. You get these items installed, measure for your hoses using the measuring hose. Get me those sizes, I get those made up and shipped out to you, usually in 1-2 days. You then have yourself a custom installation at a reasonable cost. ;)

Seems like a reasonable deal for a 3rd function with hoses and grip. How can I order?

Go to the Fit Rite website, fill out the contact page. I send you a quote with a payment link. You make your payment and that starts the process. ;)

I want to add a 3rd function. Anybody have experience with this add on? I know ebay may be a crapshoot. I want to add a grapple bucket so I guess the trick becomes can I add this to the joystick.
Also, says "no hoses included" wonder what the hoses would cost. any insight appreciated.

If you want to control a grapple using the joystick and a switch, then look at this diverter valve.

SAE 8 15 GPM DOUBLE SELECTOR VALVE 12 VDC P15544-1

Just add some hoses from Surplus and some fittings and be done with it.

A true 3rd function will provide full speed all the time, and no feathering the grapple.

Why 2 12 volt selectors? Wouldnt you want one circuit to be on and one off and use the switch to reverse them. With the one shown, you would have to constantly keep your thumb on one or the other, wouldnt you?

But it does seem that a diverter would be sufficient for the application and cheaoer too.

Just installed the WR long kit. They supply the proper valve mount, so need to reinvent the wheel there. Super simple. See my post in the LS forum. (Cheaper than what you find on ebay!)

NO, Everything will work fine if you wire it up correctly.

Did you read the instructions for the valve kit?

Yes it says no flow when the switch returns automatically to off. And it said dont activate either valve with the loader joystick if it is in the off position. So can you please explain? Thanks.

SPDT 12v on center pin.

SPDT Single pole, double throw Two-way Three-way A simple changeover switch: C (COM, Common) is connected to L1 or to L2.

ON-OFF-ON

POS-1- OFF/12v - POS 2

Curl - OFF/Do not leave the switch if OFF mode - Grapple.

Not spring loaded, it will stay in the position selected.

With no 12v applied to either solenoid, the solenoids are off and block flow.

You should have the switch in POS 1 or POS 2 before moving the joystick lever.

run you curl dump circuit into the left side. hook up your curl/dump hoses into the right side ports. your new 3rd function comes out the front two ports. Energize the solenoid with 12 volts to make the front ports the flow path. Control the flow with your curl/dump on your existing joystick.. all you have to add is a momentary switch to switch the 12 volts to the solenoid. You will need the proper hoses and adaptors of course.

Ok I give up, I don't have a clue why the URLS wont copy past into the editor, but they are on that website.
