Nice grapple. I am sure you'll find many excuses to use it.

I can't believe I'm saying this but sometimes wish I'd bought a 72" instead of a 84" grapple.

Ya with almost 500 acres I have plenty for it to do . Have'n 80 acres logged right now so it will come in handy for clean'n it up into pasture .

My uncle just had some logging done, maybe 15 acres. I told him I'd clean up the mess with the grapple but he hired a dozer instead. I was honestly a bit disappointed but the dozer will be quicker in the long run.

Ya I will have a dozer shear it stumps and small trees and wind row it . But I will use the grapple to clean some before and after to repile the wind rows and to get it all burned .

Play'n with the grapple today .
Going to have to shim the quick hitch part up on the grapple has some slack . And get the hoses where they stay out the way . But over all going to be fun use'n it .

Lookin good!

About those hoses in the way, it looks like yours are in a sleeve.

What I did was get two short black rubber bungee cords. Take the first one and hook it over something on the grapple (I hooked mine where the hoses enter the grapple frame), make a hole in the sleeve and hook the other end through the hose sleeve and crimp the hook with pliers so it can't come out.

Take the second cord and hook it up high on the loader near where the level rod is (I took my rod off after I bent it). The other end gets attached to the sleeve the same as the first cord.

I've broke a few cords but they are a lot cheaper than pinched hoses.

Edit...

Reading back through this I realized it may not make sense. Might be able to take a picture or two tomorrow if needed.

My hose problem is more of getting caught between the grapple and left arm of the loader when curled back . Going to try and route them behind the quick hitch part of the grapple . Then I believe it will be good .

I have never seen that Wildkat before. It is not on their website (below), however it is similar to the one on the center top. That one has replaceable tips, is heavier and more $.

Where did you get it?

Where did you get it?

From a local dealer that carries wildkat attachments ..
And ya its not on there site . Buts its a wildkat . I had to call them about it to get specs on it and the price the dealer over charged me and he had to refund me money . He couldn't call them about it since it was after they closed on the east coast when i bought it he couldn't get a price . he didn't have a price on it . So I called wildkat the next day about it to get a price and weight and see why it isn't on there site .

I found out that its a design only made on short runs . Made from the scraps or uncut pieces of there other stuff . Basically they didn't want to throw metal away when they can get a cut out of it . And this grapple is it . They said there Supposed to be sold through auctions . The dealer where I bought it is also a big tractor and equipment and attachment auction once a month 3-4 days a week .
Here's there web page .
http://www.brinkleyauctions.com/

He only had 2 in 60" and 2 in 72" in this design .
I'm 100% happy with it . a lot lighter than there monster on the website which in person it's a monster . it was what I was going to buy but after I seen the one I got I changed my mind to it . I made the right Choice on it .

Here's another place I just found it on the net for sell .

Don't know unless they just started making it and haven't up dated there site . Or it's a once a year type run to make them .

Personally I think they need them on the web page and for sell all the time there a great size for tractors And great price . They would probley sell a lot more of these than the heavy monster one .

I agree. At that price and weight they compete with the Titan rake grapple that I have, yet yours is way better with those big lower teeth. I have to switch to my L bottom any time I need to pick much up.
