Congratulations on your new tractor, I like the Masseys and we have an old 375, but our dealer is hit and miss, mostly miss, so I didn't seriously consider them when I bought mine.

I was out in the snow and freezing rain yesterday in one of our cab tractors and you just can't beat them. I have added some protection as we use ours in the woods and I know they aren't practical for everyone, but if a person can use one, I highly recommend them.

Got any pictures of the protection modifications you added? I'm certain I'll break something on mine sooner than later, the tractors are meant to work and I use them as such!

Actually took out a policy with State Farm, its called the Inland Marine rider. Cost me $1.25 per hundred of the value... but that gives me collision protection anywhere I go, with no deductible. Works out to about $32 per month. Not cheap by any means, but the first time I replace a $1000 door, I'll be happy I got it.

......

Oh here's something interesting, as we are always talking about rebranded machines on this forum....

I knew Iseki builds Massey's SCUT/CUT lines, but turns out Iseki sells their own branded twins as well, just not here.

Mine is actually a TG5470.

Here you go, I need to take a picture of the whole tractor; brother did all the work with $200 spent on steel.

I am sure you will be happy with it and the cab. I looked at one when I got my P7010 but wasn't too happy with the layout of the hydraulic controls. They seemed to be too far behind me. What transmission did you get? I was going with the QPS which may not have been a good idea, I haven't seen anyone review them favorably.

TripleR, thanks for the photos, great idea. Looks like I have a project to plan!

Gary, I went with the HST. That DynaQPS looks cool, but I've gotta stick with hydro. I agree with you about the location of the remote lever. I originally wasn't liking the position of the three point lever either, because I'm used to it being lower on my LS. But now that I'm used to that, I like it more. The remote lever location for the new cab series from LS is almost as bad as the Massey.

I'm actually planning to add a third function remote button for the loader joystick, since I mainly use my remote for gravel work anyhow.

I sure like seeing all the new Masseys. Nice tractor.

That is a very nice new ride. That cab sure does look attractive, but like James mine are paid for.......and it's hard to give that up.

So how long have you owned the LS?

TSO: congratulations on the new tractor! I had looked at the MF, the closest dealer is also a JD dealer and only had two small units, the next dealer was over 100 miles from me, nice tractor, but he wouldn't budge on price and had a used cab Kubota that he was real high on, 6 months later he still has 'em both! I took delivery of the XR4040 and while I really liked it, felt that it was short on power and while the dealer made me a smoking great deal ( he didn't have a 4046, and said it would be around June before he could get one unless he could another dealer to give one up) so I took the XR3037, I really like it on my small 10 acres, the cab is super, and with the less weight of the 4040 and even loaded rear tires, the turbo gives it a lot of power at 6300 feet elevation, I was plowing last Saturday and Sunday in shirt sleeves and it was below freezing outside! I was almost ready to buy a JD3520, this is about the same only a lot less $$, if I decide to get more power, I will look at the XR4046, a used JD4320 and I will look at the MF again. Thanks for your observations, enjoy the new tractor and especially the cab!!!

What ever you may get in the future, don't even consider anything that does not have a turbo on it. You are high enough that you are loosing about 18% of your power with a naturally aspirated engine. ;)
