Sometimes I act 14, and sometimes I feel 82... does that count?

Usually it's when I act like 14, that I feel like 82 the next day!

So far, only counting the ones that divulged their ages in simply terms, the average is 51.63 spread over 11 members. Thank God for ferrari99, he helped lower our average!!!

Person number 12 weighing in.... Interesting that I pretty well hit the average... I'm 51.468 today. :laughing: And I didn't mess up the average for the group! :thumbsup:

What I wanna know is how many 75-85 year olds are still making their own firewood. I knew one guy who was 82 years old and split his firewood with a splitting maul. This guy could get into a fight with a 40 year old and win.

Sure do live in the Mojave and I don't know what all the fuss is about the drought in California. Heck, we've had at least 2 inches of rain in the last year. Nothing unusual there. :laughing:

As a follow up, the Mojave is not what it used to be. I noticed that all of the Joshua Trees lean toward the south, indicating that the prevailing winds were from the North. Now our prevailing winds are from the South 90% of the time.

I also looked up meteorological information and history from 100 years ago and the average rainfall was 20 to 30 inches and ranchers grazed cattle on the abundant grass at that time.

How times have changed.
