Finally found some spare time...and here are the results. First boom welded and polished, cleaned up with a nitro solvent, and painted with 2K primer. Now she's gonna dry till next year , then I'll continue.

That thing looks like it belongs in a sculpture park! Great job and best wishes for the new year!

How did you come up with the name?

Rk means the same as BH (backhoe) in english, and 525 is the maximum reach from the.point of rotation to the tipp of the bucket teeth in centimetres

Woodlandfarms, the real name is RK - 525. If you want the full word in my language it is "Rovokopač" and directly translated it means "ditch digger" or short "backhoe"

It depends on the price/quality ratio. I'm afraid yours will be too expensive to be commercially feasible as people dont pay for quality these days... cheap, cheap, cheap...

I'd say it's not that people don't want to pay for quality, it's more that it's difficult to find a quality product to pay for. Of course there are the exceptions.
