Southern Kansas here and supposed to have a chance to go below 0 tomorrow night...and we usually have lots of wind. When this happens you don't see many people outside.
I work with a guy that came from northern Wyoming. First time I met him he was wearing a short sleeve shirt and no coat when the temp was mid 20's. He just laughed and said this isn't cold.
He was right.
We are supposed to get about 5" of snow spread over the next 2 days with 30-50 mph winds out of the south. That will make life interesting for some people. I need to go out tomorrow morning about 11AM, so I will hit the remote for the block heater on the Heep about 7 and she should be fairly warm by then. When I start her up I will kick the tractor block heater on and it should be go to go by the time I get back.
