Military generator MEP003A

I just got a military generator a MEP003A and I also got a MEP002A the first is a 10 KW gen the other is a5 KW, I just got them home and I wanted to see what I got so I went out and got 2 new battery's they work on 24 VDC,and nothing ,the switch looks ok, but , maybe there is some kind of switch I don't know about. I'm thinking about shorting across the starter to see if it will turn over, but I thought I might talk to someone that may know more than me first.

Well today I changed all 3 fuel pumps and tomorrow I'm going to Chang out the control box and give its an other chance, after that I don't know what s left

If you got it to turn over, did you bleed the fuel lines at the injectors?

What did you buy for batteries? How did you have them wired up?

Are you not getting fuel? Is that why you changed fuel pumps?
