After looking at it, it looks like the sides have a brace. Where is the guys hunting stand? I wonder if its a range finder?

They are for an easy way to cross over the invisible fence
Or a handy way to cross an electric fence, which may not be in place right now, or not visible in the photos.

AND, he did not want to run over them after some grass grew up and obscured them, Sooooo.. he stacked them against each other...yeah, yeah, that is what he did!

Maybe he allows hunting on his land to someone and those pallets mark what fields are his?
Or maybe since everyone knows about crop circles this is the new way to mark landing spots for aliens.

Come on. You are from NJ also. That is where the bodies are to be "stored" in the winter until they can be disposed of un in warmer weather.
