Didn't want an I-phone. Wife had deal two for one or something. Now I use it for everything. Just get an otter box for it.

The majority of us might not be helpful with that model, I don't think we can get those here in the States. Two other lines of rugged lines of phones we can't get here (as far as I know) are the JCB and Land Rover phones. It wouldn't surprise me if all three were made by the same manufacturer.

I've had two iPhones, a 4 and a 5. I bought a Lifeproof FRĒ case for each and never had any problems with mud, moisture or drops. They are completely submersible up to 2 meters and drop proof up to 2 meters, although I know I've dropped them from higher. They are a little expensive but well worth it for the protection from abuse.
