Congrats on another investment. :)
Hope goodies arrive before the first nor'easter.

Which blower did you get?
Been thinking about getting one for our open station B2320.
And a good hat and face mask.

Im not sure if the front blower is the 50 or the 51. Blowing snow with an open station machine will not be fun baby, its not the blower its the backblow from the wind thats brutal!

Congratulations, I learned long ago how darn handy it is to have more than one tractor, you are going to love the combination.

This is exactly right. Particularly when you need to get crops in, more tractors with good lights and you can work well into the evening. Or simply for multiple different tasks, just like different wrenches, not all are the right size or do the same thing.

Lawn King,
Congrats on the new machine! I lived in Abington for 9 years, I'm in Hanson now. I have a BX2370, I just put a soft cab on it, I'll have to get a front blower, working snow with the FEL is pretty inefficient.

Did you get it from Norfolk?

Cheers,
BN

Yep, during harvest our renters will have three tractors, a combine and grain truck going well into the night.

I got this machine @ MB tractor, i know other people that have done business with them and they have a good reputation! I actually moved from abington to a big place in norton 3 years ago. Having a B series again will be great as there have been lots of jobs i couldnt do with the 3540 as it was simply too big!

I'm a fellow MB customer too. They have always treated me fair.

Aha, you got the front blower - nice!
I know about the backblow from a large walk-behind CubCadet that finally died last year after many good years of service. I can deal with looking like Nanook of the North if it gets the snow moved in a timely way.
Enjoy your new machine!

Congrads on your new machine. I hope to do the same soon

i didnt realize Kubota offered a cab unit on the 23xx series. my neighbor is looking for a smaller (20-25hp) cab unit. ill let him know about this. On Kubota website they dont even show the cab option on the b series 23Hp units.

I was just talking to neighbor last weekend, and hes a Kubota fan from previous ownership, and is in the market for new one. He just loves my cab, but wants alot smaller tractor.

edit: quick question..is this a factory cab, or an aftermarket

Default Re: Pulled the trigger!

I ordered this rig with a heated curtis softcab, worklights etc. Yes the l3540 will be staying right where she is!
Looks like he ordered aftermarket

I probably would have gone factory cab had they offered it on the 2320. I have owned curtis cabs in the past and im fine with the curtis!

They do offer the factory cab on the B3000 Cab. 23hp.

I was not aware of that. I thought the B3000 was a larger machine? I had a factory cab on my 2005 B3030, the cab was very nice, i was however disappointed in the noise level in the cab. Kubota claims to have addressesd that in the new B series cabs?

/ Pulled the trigger! #38
I cannot imagine the 3030 being any louder than the 3000, because it is very noisy.

I wear earplugs and 26db earmuffs (I have not yet done sufficient research for noise canceling types designed for tractor use) to cut the noise.

My grand L cab is very quiet! If the B series factory cabs are still that bad on the noise, im glad i went with the curtis cab!

I have an L (5740) and a B3000.

The 3000 is a noise torture booth. It is, like the 3030, a great little tractor and does well for me in its assigned duties (flail mowing in 100+ and snowblowing in 0- with A/C and heat) but the ear pro is a must.
