1025R vs 2032R vs Kubota ??

As someone mentioned, I'm thinking that after the first cut of the season with the brush hog, maintaining the trails with a MMM would be doable and much easier to manage. I see that the B3200 had the mid PTO... are there other big differences between that and the B3300?

As for dragging logs, it was more to remove them from brush so they could be cut up and trailered to the barn. Not to drag them all the way to the barn. I love sharp chains on my Stihl :)

It all depends how rough your trails are as to whether or not a MMM will work.

I think the B3300 can be equipped with larger tires, like a L3200 has. Some people have got the larger tires on the B3200 though. Maybe Jeff9366 can elaborate on the differences.

How heavy do you load your trailer? Kubota recommends only towing 1765lbs with a BX. I imagine a JD 1 series is about the same.

Generally speaking, those who have had problems have had dirty radiators. They can look clean, but when you get in there, you find fine chaff and crud built up in the middle of the radiator. A Deere would have the same issue.

Definitely an issue with all the tractors. I messed up and overheated my 2320 last weekend. I usually clean the grill every 1/2 hour or hour of mowing and then clean the inner screen and radiator when I'm done. In the dry weather we are having, everything went through the grille and covered the inner screen and I didn't realize it. One more lesson learned.

Went and looked at the tractors today, and almost immediately landed on the B3300SU. Perfect size and easy to maneuver.

It doesn't have the bucket on the front, but has all the hydraulic plumbing (maybe the dealer removed the bucket to sell elsewhere?).

Price quote I got for just the tractor itself paying cash was $13,700. Seems like a pretty good deal for a brand new machine. Should I try to negotiate anything else (like filling the tires with fluid or front end weights)? Or just take the price as-is?

Does it have a MMM?

No MMM, not even available on the B3300 (that is relegated to the B3200, which has smaller tires).

After walking around our land, there were enough walnut branches in the paths that it doesn't make much sense to use a finish mower out there so we made the decision that we don't need a mid PTO, especially when getting the right sized tractor plus equipment would cost another $5k.

If you think you will ever want a MMM or snow blower get the B3200. Some people got the larger tires off the B3300 on the B3200. I would get the tires filled on whatever you go with. It makes the tractor more stable and provides more traction. If you are not getting a FEL you will need front weights to hold front down with the rotary cutter on. Weights are not cheap. They are about $1.25 a pound.

Build the tractor on Kubotas site like it was equipped. You should get atleast 12% off. If you get 15% or more it is a good deal. I would check prices at 3 or 4 dealers.

I hope you purchase the B3300SU with the FEL.

Have not purchased anything yet, but still leaning toward the B3300SU w/out FEL as we have zero need for it at this time. Will be talking to the dealer tomorrow to hopefully finalize something. Why get the FEL?

Still looking for guidance if $13,700 is a fair price w/out FEL. It is about 12% off MSRP, but no other dealers have this model and this particular dealer is only 20 minutes from our land.

If you decide to get the FEL later, it's going to cost a lot more than if you bought them together.

As far as price, get competing quotes...there's enough variation from area to area that it's hard to say what a good price is in your area.

I think with 12% off your are not getting a great deal but you are not getting ripped off, it is a fair price. A few percent is not that big of a deal on a small tractor. If you got another 5% off it would be $13,015. You could keep a straight face and ask the salesman if he will fo $13,000 and fill the tires. Filling the tire does not cost that much. Proabably $125-150 on that tractor.

Were you getting any weights?
