Don't forget to get your 2 chains so you will be ready to work as soon as it arrives.

Got my FS RR today. What a monster.
Now I need a tractor to put it on.
I was hoping the inventor/seller would answer giving details of his location to determine if I could pick it up as well as find out if they are an existing and maybe even a reputable company. He responded rather quickly to the original post but hasn't answered mine. I could look the area code up of the listed phone number which proves nothing but the location of a phone number given on an internet site. What's to lose? $350 is what's to lose and never receive a product that no one else has ever received that I know or that I can contact. It never entered your mind that this may be a scam since no one else on this site has one or doesn't know any one that has one? Also, I want to talk to a customer that has bought one. I don't want to be the first person to give details of a horrible experience. Were you serious or just kidding when you asked "How can you go wrong"?It does look like a great product and I want one. Was getting ready to order but my years of experience of buying on the internet started screaming at me to wait and find out more about the company and the product. Example: Barlows in Ky sells alot on the internet and they have the customers that have bought from them all around the country telling of their positive experience with Barlows. Nothing from any one on this product or company. I even did a DOGPILE search and nothing other than it's a dental tool and the responses here on TBN.
I bought one.
I also appreciate the fact that the bright yellow contrasts so nicely with the bright orange color of my tractor. It probably looks fine with ugly-green I suppose --- but I wouldn't know. Everything I own is Orange.
I posted a minute ago and then realized it was JOHNTHOMAS from the referenced append. I think he's had one for a few years now. That post was from 2009.
9 pages of almost unanimous positive ratings. And I got my first bush hog job this week! Of course, it's now late Friday night, so I have to wait until Monday to order my RR!![]()
Yeah, I hate that 2 step process stuff to.Yes, almost all positive. Certainly well built and great bang for the buck. Don't forget though that any tool as limitations. I like mine but I find the fact that it ties up the bucket so I cannot load or move the stuff I have ratchet raked is annoying. Easy work around is to just pile stuff and come back for it later but it does mean at least a two step process.
Yeah, I hate that 2 step process stuff to.So aggravating.
It makes me think how bad it is to have a back hoe to dig, 1st step of process, then have to turn the tractor all of the way around to scoop up the dirt or rock or stump or whatever, second step of the process and that's not even considering lowering and raising the feet and rearranging the BH arm/bucket. It's almost better to not have anything but one attachment on a tractor rather than have to do the different steps of the processes.:laughing::laughing:
Previously I had a Kubota B3300SU tractor/loader package which used 52" Ratchet Rake. Worked well.
Now I have heavier Kubota L3560 with optional (L2296) 397 pound, Heavy Duty, Round-Back Bucket and 88 pound, 68" Ratchet Rake; heavier, works better.
I had issues with cable attachment shackle pins unscrewing, despite application of Loc-Tite, on two occasions. I found nutted and pinned clevis shackles on eBay @ $2.99, which resolved the problem. RR, LLC should make some type of secure shackle standard. Downtime is the field is expensive.
I lost the black Cordura strap pads pretty quickly. I use old leather work gloves under the straps, which are better padding than the Cordura and stay put. (Also, for some reason, I do not lose the gloves. Perhaps subconscious is programmed to remember glove location.)
Great tool. Effective tearing out tenacious Palmettos.
