Good morning all, reporting in from the woods. A very quiet night, I slept like a rock in our "new" bed.
And the coffee pot is on, making coffee as it really didn't want to do last night. A spare old coffee maker went into the rv, and
our first pot of coffee was very strange, most of the water boiled off and very little went into the coffee pot. Most distressing.
Well, this morning, it got its java mojo and the coffee pot is filling up as I watch.
they predict fog this morning and a high of 84 which is six degrees cooler than home, with no fog and 90 degrees. Turns out it will be a good week to be in the woods. We are going exploring this morning on the golf cart and will take lots of pics.
Now what to eat with my coffee.... we stopped at an Amish produce stand down the road before the campsite, and I have a home made cherry pie staring at me, and a bunch of other goodies. Shoo fly pies we passed on, wet bottom or dry bottom??, and then there were lots of different moon pies, looking like giant oreos. We also bought a container of home made chicken corn noodle soup, which we will have for lunch today.
Once we turned off at the Morgantown exit, the scenery was really pretty, rolling hills, and every property simply immaculate. Every lawn mowed, not a spec of trash anywhere, and very few dumpy houses. These folk sure take care of their properties, which I'm sure reflects their faith, their life style, and their family stewardship of the land. Really nice to see. Not quite like the fast food wrappers found closer to home....
the coffee pot looks like it will actually fill up, yeah, so I need to get breakfast stuff out quietly and get ready to cook. And yes, Out of Africa is loaded in the cd player.
Life is sweet, need to make every day count. And Scooter, thanks for the compliment. Join us any day. Peace.
