No, don't worry, Ill go all the way with this. :)

Last week I had alot of other obligations, that's why there was no progress and no new pictures.

I'm amazed at how quickly this is getting built. It would take me years and would not look nearly as nice. :)

Well, it could go faster...but I got alot of other work to do around the house, at my workplace etc...

I fully understand with "other commitments"...

Been trying to work on converting my old wood cutting bandsaw to steel cutting (not nearly as involved as your project) and I am lucky to get 1/2hr per day to do it!

Keep up the good work

So, here is the operator's seat and joystick commands. There will be 2 foot pedals; one for additional hydraulic circuit (if I make wood clamps) and the other for hydraulic thumb. This way I get maximum operating speed because my hands remain on the joysticks all the time

BFreaky;

How much $$ do you have tied up in materials?

Don't need to answer if you think it is too personal but was thinking of attempting a build for my kubota (much smaller than your machine)

BFreaky..
I ran across your thread late and have just finished reading the whole thing...Fantastic work. Although, I find myself wondering..What the heck were you thinking getting a degree in electrical engineering? ;) just kidding of course..Look forward to the finished product and the video of it in action. :thumbsup:

Well, around 3000 $ ...give or take few $.

The main cause for "ee" was my great programming ability, so at first I wanted to go that way, but later figured that machines are my real passion and something I really wanna to do

Your passion obviously show's in your work...And it is evident you wont be needing a "degree" in mechanical engineering as you have that natural ability to think,see,draw and bring your idea to life....

We had PLC technology and CAD/CAM too on polytechnical school... which would have fitted you... I never was much good at it. :p

You used rectangular tubing for the outriggers instead of rolled and fabricated ?
