Mahindra vs Kubota

You still do not want to use calcium. If the valve stem leaks it will eat the wheel up.

The pictures you see of wheels rotted out with holes in them are from tubed tires, filled with calcium and a slow leak in the tube, or one that was pumped out and repaired and put back together without being cleaned out. The area between the tube and wheel is a perfect environment for rot, with even just plain water.

If you have a leak you need to repair it otherwise you will have bigger issues, like one tire weighing more than the other to deal with. But, yes, if you have a hole in your tube it can leak and corrode your steel wheel. Since corl is getting Rim Guard he has nothing to worry about. Unless, of course, he gets a leak.

It odes not take very much of a leak to cause rust with CaCl.

You are both correct.
It's all about taking care of your equipment.
If folks would have there tires properly fixed at the first sign of trouble, then these corrosion issues are much less a problem.

Well the tractor got delivered yesterday and has already tilled part of the garden. The tires are tubeless and the fluid is M100/ not beet juice.

I really like those 5100's

That is a lot of power for physical size. Never had one but would be proud to have one, congratulations!

The bucket is only 72 inches wide. The camera angle does make it look big. It is .78 cubic yards stacked so it is bigger than the .48 cu yd bucket that would normally come with the tractor.
