Good morning. It's 68 degrees going to 65 later. It was 92'yesterday and 89 percent humidity then severe t storms for four hours w/1/2"to 3/4" hail and 3.75"s of rain. On top of 2"yesterday. Garden loves it. Everythings going crazy growing. Have a great day. Love and peace from south louisiana

Tell you guys something weird...I have not been able to sleep worth a d*** the past two nights, woke up at 11 pm yesterday and began thinking about these two women...here I am old enough to file for Social Security and for the first time in at least 30 years I am having insomnia because of problems (potential ones, anyway) with women...I dearly loved my ex-wife much of the time but never lost any sleep over her, even after she told me she wanted a divorce. What the h*** is the matter with me???

Wow, the end of a very tough week!!

It's 58 right now...and raining steady. The predicted high is 66 and rain all weekend....there goes outdoors work, I suppose. But after this week, I do need a break.

Rained most of the night but, has stopped for now anyway. Heading north in an hour or so and spend time at camp.
Temp is 63 and they claim it will not get out of the 60’s today. looks like rain through Sunday.

Whoa, 6-9 inches of rain is a lot, but I'm sure you folks could use it all.

We tend to get our rain in extended periods of drizzle and light rain. For example, it's supposed to rainy all day and tonight, but the total rainfall is forecast to be up to 1.5 inches. I haven't seen a lightning bolt yet this year.

We had a very dry April and first half of May, I think we are catching up now. The month-to-date precip is 2.9 inches. The average May precip. is 4.03".

Good Morning! 75˚ to mid 90˚s today. Our wildflowers are a dismal sight because of the lack of rain, but our cactus are blooming nicely. We are averaging less than an inch of rain a month this year.

There is a line of showers west of Austin now (we are 60 miles east of Austin) we are hoping they will stay together and hit us.
The more rain the greater chance that the roots of the mesquite I'm pulling will come out intact and not grow back.

With the BH I got the technique down to one scoop. Starting 1 foot behind the mesquite, go down and curl, pull and lift the 3' to 5' tap root out. Shake it and cover the hole. Reposition. 4 min ea. I probably have 700 to go, I just keep getting side tracked.
