Got a pot of coffee brewing. 30° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 64° with lots of sun. It's cold outside. I can see a fog front moving into our little valley as I type. Should help to raise the temperature. Got to get all the yard furniture out for a picnic on Monday.

good morning well woke up and jumped out a bed to see what the temp was and now it's 35 with a slite breeze [no frost that i can see]. very thankful for that. the women are going after strawberries and after it warms up the men will take the kids fishing. everyone have a great week end.

Yep I saw that over there also. I don't see the point of the article. It's hard to put any credibility when this is in the article:

It's kind of like that Dr. FG19 follows. He refuses to look at any of the studies that have shown the reversal of heart disease, even though people have e-mailed him about the studies. A cherry picker.

Too bad the medical community can't get their act together...Mixed messages can harm people...best to take the safe route....just like you are doing and I to a lesser degree...

Slept in this morning temperature 47 now with wind blowing enough to stir the leaves on the trees. Sky is a beautiful blue with bright sunshine. Will mow grass later this morning and weed eat to. Nice holiday weekend to spend with family and will not forget those who fought got wounded and died for our freedom

You should see the green in central Ohio. I kind-of over fertilized my trees and yard this year (pay attention in algebra class boys and girls) and the cool temps and rainfall have everything green around here on steroids. We have a lot of trees so it matters and it seems like I'm mowing the lawn every couple hours. Today, heading to a farm auction and then...mow the grass.

Problem is, most stuff is taught and sponsored by pharmceutical companies. Since they want you taking cholesterol lowering drugs, they push and teach that cholesterol is bad. That isn't the only thing taught from a pharmaceutical standpoint, just happens to be the one mainly in discussion here.

Good Morning! It is wet outside! .9" fell yesterday afternoon and into the evening. 72˚ and cloudy.
It rained right after I got finished mowing in a cloud of dust and right before I was going to pluck mesquite.
I think this mesquite project will be similar to the circular paver drive project in length.

Brin everyone has got a small piece of the total health picture, even the Doctors I listen to say they do not know the exact cause or combination of causes of the inflammation but they do know what helps. Even though most people don't like the diet, (and for some reason feel threatened by it) it does work, even long term, and that has been document.
FYI - None of the doctors like the "V" name of the diet- vegetarian or vegan because it is neither, it also includes no added oils and whole foods and does not include the animal rights or clothing issues. The closest best descriptor name which is catching on is "WFPB" (Whole Food Plant Based).

That is not entirely correct. A lot of the experts that teach cholesterol is bad also teach that medicine is bad, and to reduce it by diet not medicine. FG you should really go to Houston for a day and speak to the Cardiologist that are showing results of improved heart function on the WFPB diet I can give you their names, location, e-mails and they would be happy to explain how their non medicine way is working. Your referenced Dr. (who has the WF right but ignores the PB) will not address these Doctors that have been showing results for 20 years, so why, I guess so he can sell his Denmark books.

you'd better layer up and take some foul weather gear, wind blown spray. Are you far South enough to be in the salty part or are you staying in the freshwater area? 25mph will put some serious chop out there, as you well know...

I am guilty of sleeping in also. But I stayed up past 1am...

My current hostess asked me to crash else where for a couple nights so she could "Nest" with her kids...She is dealing with some medical issues, and of course my life is constant high drama... So I am back at the original place, crashed on the basement couch because college boy has his room (His mom says I am a much neater house guest BTW) and most of the rest of the house... So I did not sleep until he stopped gaming in the living room (he might be the first person louder than me).

It is good to have friends, especially friends with extra rooms who allow their homeless hard luck charlie buddies to crash at.

I have officially not slept in my own house in two months, an been away from my family for a few days over two months. I have made a lot of progress on my issues and how to be a better husband & father (and person). Unfortunately things seem to be getting worse and worse on the other side... Sigh...

Today I am helping one of my youngest's set of God Parents move into their new house. they moved out over a week ago, using PODS, and crashed at a friends, and they move in today. Should be fun.

Then my current host family I believe we are all going to see Star Trek...

I just turned down an invite to ride in Rolling Thunder here in DC, because I need to teach Sunday School tomorrow.

I thank God for all Veterans, but especially for those who "..gave their last fullmeasure of devotion". Truly Freedom is NOT free, and the tree of Liberty requires watering upon occasion.

Please honor those Fallen Veterans this weekend, and then have a big BBQ.

Cloudy with showers, high of 18C/64F.
Sure put in a hard day's work yesterday. Moved the 3,800 board feet of lumber from under the back of the chicken coop. Moved about 5 yards of gravel and spread it in the 12 X 28 foot area. Then formed the pony wall, 6 inches high and then mixed and placed the concrete, total of 52 linier feet
Good thing I had a hard woking hired hand to help.
Boy, was I tired last night, went to bed early. :yawn: :zzz:

David (Moss) I keep thinking of that episode on the series "Breaking Bad" Where the separated husband just moved back into his house in a different room. He was very polite to his wife but made it clear that it was his house also. She called the police but without any threats or violence there was nothing they could do without a court order. Is it just an agreement between the two of you are is there a court order?

But of course that is Hollywood, and it fit in the plot of the show, real life situations may be different. (No need to answer. Anything you say can and will be used against you in open forum.)

Does anyone else remember that episode?
