Well, God bless the folks around Oklahoma City. This morning they had another thunderstorm and now have flash flood warnings. If they don't get blown away, they get washed away. They must be prayin' for a break.
We have a 20% chance of showers today and I need to pick sweet peas and do garden maintenance now that it's dried up for a day. I sharpened blades on my Kubota mower yesterday, did annual service, and need to put the deck back on this morning.

Rain this morning with hopefully some sun this afternoon, high of 17C/63/F.
Took the neighbour last night to pickup a bee hive. She has a van so transporting it in that was not a good idea. Took my Ford Ranger that has a canopy on it. Was about 1½ hour drive each way. Got to her place at 12:30 this morning, way past my bed time. Got the hive unloaded in the dark as the bees wee moving around a bit, only got stung once. Good thing is I am first on the list to buy honey from her. :licking::licking:

Hi guys...checking in, I am having so much fun and laughing my a** off so frequently these days I feel like a kid again...my experiences today with Social Security and their incompetent staff would have ticked me off big time ten years ago, but all I have done about them is laugh at their inane foolishness. My cats have been chasing their laser toy all over, my sides still ache from their antics. Whew, if I had known I would enjoy my life so much being a single guy again I would have divorced the b**** a long time ago. Got a dinner date here tomorrow night with a new lady for the first time, then a dinner and movie date with the one I have been seeing for the last month on Saturday...oh, I am having so much fun. Bye, guys...

good evening it has rained off and on all day. wif and i went to town this morning found me some mr stripy mater plants so all is good. got to mow grass 2mar guess i wear my coveralls and boggin suppose to be 60 degree's and 20 mph winds. i remember this happening once before we went to charlotte nc for the world 600 race back in the 80's and on saterday it was in the 90's on sunday the high temp was 42 we like to frooze people were paying 30 bucks for sweat shirts and 50 fr sweat paints including me. we still laugh about it. thats only race ever been to that i took a cooler full of beer in and brought a cooler full of beer out. it was just to cold to drink.

Got the deck boards all screwed down, 700 (screws) of them, haven't done that much screwing since the first month I was married!

As a matter of fact, sugar, I just happen to have!
And for those who haven't heard this story already: She was the very first piece of motorized farm equipment on the old family farm, when my dad wasn't much more than a toddler. 2 plow mules were traded in on her, and the kids cried, because the mules were leaving to go work the rice fields in Louisiana. She is still in her original family. Granddad bought her, then dad got her, now I have her. If I ever win the lottery, she is my restore project. While I'm sure no one will appreciate her as much, when I am gone, she has a home as long as I have one! I rode on dad's lap on her, until I was old enough to reach the pedals myself. She and I have a history and bond!

That's a sweet little tractor, hope you can bring it back to life someday. It's always nice to here the story that goes along with the tractor. Here is a picture of the first tractor I ever drove that was left to me when my dad died in 1997.

Did you notice the hood ornament. My dad put that on and when I restored the tractor I left it on. It's a women with long flowing hair.
