Steering box for T442D

New to this site. Our model radio control club has a Jacobsen T442D mower system to cut our field. The hydraulic steering box is blowing out oil. Any ideas where we can acquire a replacement steering box, or who might be able to rebuild it. Thanks for any help.

:welcome: I have a T422D, I recently purchased at auction, a great machine! I have been working on the engine and have found lots of help here. It sounds like you have too much pressure, or have blown a seal. Either way I would find a local hydraulic or trans shop (I have a great one by me). All the manuals are on jacobsen.com and if you take them the drawing they may be open to the job. Good Luck!

We got REAL lucky. Talking with some friend, and one of them works at a local golf course. They had scraped out a T422D last year, but saved the steering box and steering shaft assembly. Went to see them and got it in trade for some pizza's! Apparently they wanted to help our club. Jim Litwin
