37*F and clear, headed to mid-60's. Getting dry here too with high fire danger, a couple of small fires already. No chance of rain in the forecast until next Friday.

I'm going to work on the garden, move some compost to the raised beds.

Good morning, 45 now heading to the mid ti upper 60's today sun shining looks like a good weekend. Good day to get some of the older tractors running, then off to auction see what they have inspection day,then maybe back tomorrow if there is something good.

Mowed the acre and a half yard I decided was a great idea when I was clearing, seemed smarter back then. 40's to 60's with that darned northeast wind for several more days. Just keeps it from being really nice out, it would be beautiful fall weather but this ain't fall!!

Hey Don! Did you see two confused geese going south? My pair of geese disappeared when it got cold here. This morning it was 33.8 F at 6:30 AM. I didn't see any frost out, but I think my garden is thanking me for covering all the tender plants. Maybe the local fruit growers aren't all cryin' in their coffee this morning.

its another cold wet day rain and 33 degrees only warming to 46.western Wisconsin is really getting nailed with snow,northern part got 18 inches .we are getting the rain which is fine with me.

Sunny and a high of 21c/70f.
Yesterday went over to the neighbors for a couple of hours and watched a backhoe enlarge their small pond but more importantly take out a several stumps that were in a small clump.
They had asked me to do it with my tractor and backhoe but I felt it was a bit much for my machine. Just so happened that the farmers auction I had attended a couple of weeks ago had some donated items including a 4 hour use of a backhoe with operator. I ended getting it and was pleased to give it to my neighbors. These neighbors are great people and was really happy to give them this gift. The backhoe got the stumps out and did a good job on enlarging the pond a bit and cleaning up. :drink: OK it was only coffee I had there, it was in the morning after all. :laughing::laughing:

Good morning all. 41F this morning going to a high of 50F and rain. no riding or mowing or golf today, lawn is about 90% done. Rain is in forecast for next three days as well not sure when it will be dry enough to mow.
David and David sorry to here of your troubles, it is a real pain when life sucks and it always seems to take longer to fix it then it took to break it
