Where to buy Quick Hitch Bushings for Cat 1

You need to measure the lower hook dimensions. If 1-7/16 inch pins will fit the hooks, you need to adapt to Category III dimensions. If 1-1/8" pins will fit, you need to adapt to Category II.

Correct. Generally, most QH's need CAT1->CAT3 bushings. I have bought several sets from Belarus-luckily back when they where $12 though.

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know about another option. I use much less expensive bushings. They run about $2.29 a piece and they work great. You just slide them over your draw pin (the pins attached to your equipment where your lift arms connect). Then you attach the lynch pins, and they serve the exact same purpose that you need, and they are much less expensive. I have a set on all of my implements and they work great! I do like the quick hitch bushings, however they are hard for me to justify when I add up the quantity that I would need. They state that they are a hitch reduction, however they increase your cat-1 to a cat-2 connection just like he quick hitch bushings. Below is the link:

Wow, that's a great option. At ASC they are only .69 cents ea. item no 11959. Thanks, I think I will try them.

I tried all those ideas and did not like them. I went to a Land Pride dealer, had their parts guy look up their parts for their QH. The have both top and bottom bushings that slip over the pins. They are a lot cheaper than the stepped ones and fit. They come in several lengths. I measured from the sholder of the pin to the pin hole and ordered the closest one. For odd lengths I bought the long ones and cut them to length. I have the bushings on all implement to keep them together and not be swapping around and losing pieces, always ready to go. I now need to buy some more as I just got two more implements.

Why do you need a top bushing?

Why do you need a top bushing?

The top hook on a QH is also sized for the larger bushings - usually a Cat III. You can use the Cat I pin but it will have a lot of slop.

I just ordered one of these NorTrac Three-Point Category 1 Quick Hitch. I have not purchase any of the bushings yet because I have been reading these posts along with shopping for the best price.

Silly question: I am guessing that my tractor implements are cat 1. If I ordered a cat 1 quick hitch will I need a cat 2 bushing?

If it is a cat one quick hitch it seems as though it would work on cat 1 pins. ???
