You need to have the lower links and toplink bushinged to Cat 3. The bushings you ordered go from Cat 1 to 3. I don't know why a cat 1 QH is made this way.

I just installed my cat 1 quick hitch from Northern Tool and I love it. The first implement that needed a slight modification was my box blade. It had some right-angle plates welded on just inside the frame where the bottom hitches connect to the pins. I had to get out the angle grinder with the cut-off disk to remedy that obstruction.
Once done with that and adjusted the top hook I backed right up to the box blade raised the lift arms reached back and released the spring levers then drove away.
Never had to dismount the tractor.

TSC sells them for $35.00 nearly identical.

I had to trim that on mine also. I also took out the lower spacer and bolt (just under the toplink hole)and welded the braces solid so I could use the top pin hole for the quick hitch. Some say your supposed to hook onto that bottom spacer but the older implements don't have that hole so I made everything standard at the normal toplink height.
