Tom nice work!
Is there any way to put in an Auto center feature for the blade in the future? Asking because I would like to do something similar with the Kubota
Thanks.
I don't know if it would be simple or inexpesive to do so.
When angled you would want it to hold the angled position. A log splitter valve has detent return but will not allow a position control in two directions.
Maybe two logsplitter valves and flow shuttles?
But
Something/Pressure has to signal it has reached center position and cause the control to release.
I build and service pneumatic/electric automated equipment at work and I know I could whip up a control device using a combination of the two quickly but I am not as familiar with what is available in hydraulic controls.
At work I would use limit switches or proximity sensors and could deactivate 12 volt hydraulic solenoids.
Bit of a tough one without involving electronics I think.
Just starting to work with hydraulics on this tractor.
Far left or right would be easy enough, but center is a different story.
A proximity switch can be mounted on the cylinder and it could sense when the piston is at the center position.
You need electronics to use the proximity switch?
