Tree Spade Valve To Run 6 Functions

Hello all,
I'm building a tree spade and I want to run the 4 blades and the rear stabilizers with electric over hyd, (12vdc)
I know a little about plumbing, but I dont know where to find this valve.
It will need to run 8 hyd cylinders all together but just one at a time.
Information on what I may need is greatly appreciated

1. Stack valves
2. Subplate valves (requires both the valve body and the subplate)

That looks like whaat I need , Thanks..... one more question, a Bobcat has a 7 pin outlet, could that run 6 functions

If the coils take a ground pin and a hot pin, it could work. One pin for ground (to make sure you have a good ground), the rest for positive contacts to the coils.

Your title said 6 valve, in the post, you said something about 8.

I thought all tree spades used one cyl for each spade, and one cyl for open/close.

Maybe solenoid valves on DO3 subplates.

This looks like the valve I need https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=9SV-6E-X&catname=hydraulic
But I dont think a 7 pin plug on a Bobcat will be enough.
Am I wrong thinking that it will take 2 pins to run a cylinder in and out? plus a ground.

There are going to be 4 Shovel cylinders, 2 cylinders to open the spade gate and 2 more cylinders to opperate the rear stabilizers.

If the 7 pin plug that is already on the Bobcat wont work, I will need to make my own control box and mount it in the cab

Good point, I was thinking of one way wiring. Yes, you will need 2 pins for each function plus a ground. With 12 functions, that would be 13 connections, so a 12+PE connector such as this one should work.

I ended up getting a Case machine with a 11 pin outlet.
Also I have changed my mind about the 4 blade spade.
Its now a 3 blade with 1 opening gate (4 cylinders total)
I want to use 3/8" hyd hose.
I still need some help guys understanding how this solenoid valve goes together.
or is there another type of 12vdc valve i can use for the 4 double acting cylinders

Is there no 4 station sub plate, or is this just a better way to install this setup?
I would assume that theres a inlet and outlet (return) on each subplate,
so from the 3 station subplate return would get plumbed into the inlet of the 2nd single subplate,
then from the return on the single plate it would go back to the main return on the auxiliary on the skid steer...a'm I on the right track?

You can connect both subplate in series . OUT port of the first subplate will connect to the IN port of the second subplate.

You could also put two solenoids on a two spool subplate X 2

Great now I understand how the valves work.
I see that they ship to Canada, thats a good thing, I will be ordering this valve set up soon.
Do I need a rod kit, and wire conections?
one more question that I have been trying to find out...what Is the difference between a tandom solenoid and a open center solenoid?

TANDEM CENTER VALVES
Tandem center valves when in a neutral position by passes the flow of hydraulic oil to the return line. This is used to hold the cylinder/piston in position with no load on the pumps. When this system is the pump is running constantly to keep a ready supply of hydraulic oil, but as long as the cylinder/piston is not in operation the pump is working under no pressure or load. This system keeps wear and tear on the pump down to a minimum.

OPEN CENTER VALVES
Open center valves are the same as the tandem center, except that in the neutral position all lines are connected back to the reservoir. The primary use of this system is to prevent "shock" loading when the valve is placed in neutral. This takes pressure off the motor. This system is used in situations where the operating device needs to be moved by hand.

10-4 copy that, I think I may use the 2 station OC sub plates, I,m hopping theres a fitting that can conect the 2, instead of useing hoses...I,m sure there must be, anyway thank you so much, you were very helpfull.:thumbsup:

Your JD6400 is a closed center, and will use the CC solenoid valve.

Pressure: 2900 psi [200.0 bar]

Total flow: 18.7 gpm [70.8 lpm]
25 gpm [94.6 lpm] (optional)

Then those valves I posted are 10 GPM valve.

You will have lower the engine rpm down for a 10 GPM flow
