Tractor News 2013 5083e being delivered today!

Signed the papers yesterday, now just waiting on them to call and say they are on their way. It has a 553 loader, dual rear remotes, air ride seat, and bit the bullet and got the radio. I'm gunna have a good Christmas. Even if my wife kicks me out of the house, guess I can sleep in the tractor....

Congratulations, my son and I had some time to kill a few days ago and wandered around the JD lot and were pretty impressed with that machine.

May be able to disconnect and route over the loader frame mount if they are under it. I wound up doing that with mine.

Very nice looking tractor:thumbsup: Looks like a very good match for hp and frame size imo.

I would reroute the loader lines and check the tire pressure too. My rear tires seem to stand up too much too but yours look over inflated.

RE Tire pressure. They usually set the tire pressure to the maximum for transport. Dealer might not have reset the pressure.

Yeah, some red angus on lease land I have. They came with the lease.

Got it hooked up this afternoon.. Have to slip the clutch before mowing with it. I plan on mowing the horse trap and mowing one pass around all the fences.

Good lookin' mower, too! :thumbsup: Guessin' it's a 8 foot semi-mount. Kinda been looking at the MX-8 semi mount for several years, now. Have a hard time convincing my wife that's it's a "priority", though! Making progress on convincing her about the "need" for a good, round baler with net-wrap, though! :laughing:

I am in the process of ordering a 5083e. I have a few questions. How wide is the front end loader? Have you ask when the first service is done like change the oil and filters? About how much is this going to cost, if you do this yourself? Nice looking tractor.

I can help with the 553 loader question as I just had a ruler on mine today. The top bucket hooks are 40 inches center to center and the bottom pins 47" c-c. The bucket that came with mine is 73" wide but you can buy other widths. There are some fluid levels and bolt torques to check at 50 hours and first oil change is at 100 hours on mine but the 5083E has a different engine and just might have a different change interval.

Really nice set-up. I have a RCR3596 great shredder( I would suggest lower the center shaft part down one bolt hole so your shaft is straight). What part of Tx?
