Good Morning! 53˚ and sunny skies. The Race is on! I can see the end after three years! Paver section 2 is complete and the final sections (33' and two small areas by the front door) will be leveled and compacted today. I am trying to finish by the end of the year! I've got to GO GO GO GO.......

Good morning all, it is 26 degrees right now and we have a couple inches or so on the ground and talking about snow or rain throughout the day. We are just high enough here that it might be all snow. Oh and if Roy is up north he is maybe seeing 5 - 10 inches of the white stuff.

Actually the paver sand has been working pretty good, only an occasional weed. One kind of ant likes to make a home in the polymer sand but they are being eradicated slowly.

Coffee and oatmeal on board got to GO.

44 degrees and climbing. Overcast and dreary though... Looks like it won't be a White Christmas according to the long range forecast.

Rained yesterday and more today though it has cleared out for the moment. The lows might have made it into the mid 40's the last couple of nights with highs in the upper 50's and lower 60s. We let the fire die out a few days ago and the house has maintained mid to upper 70s.

If the rain holds off a few more hours I think I can go split some fire wood. The rain, badly needed, will keep me from doing some dirt work this week. Oh, well, there is plenty of wood to cut and split.

I've been having trouble with nutsedge growing between mine, the other grass seems to be discouraged by the polymeric sand.
