Questions for Kubota?

Actual tach and indicator lights (or multifunction display) for parking brake, 4wd, PTO, Temp etc.

Wonder how the meeting went?

I totally forgot about parking brake light! The BX sure needs one big time!!!!

I forgot to mention one other thing that I inproved on this B3200HSD is the exhaust pipe pointing right at the FEL arm blowing black sut and turning the loader arm black, and the whole left side of the loader for that matter.

That's right! And you could also mention that whatever exhaust doesn't end up coating the side of the tractor often gets deflected into the operator's face.

It's surprising that Kubota hasn't fixed this yet. And it's downright weird that every single design team across all the Kubota models continues to make exactly the same mistake.
Since the exhaust position is such a a simple mistake that exists on every tractor across the entire model line, I wonder if the exhaust design is linked to something we aren't aware of.....possibly a misinterpretation of some upper level management decision?

But what I find even more odd is that the aftermarket hasn't jumped on this as an opportunity to provide alternative exhausts for the Kubota. There seems to be interest in a real exhaust stack to get those fumes up and away from the tractor. I'd sure buy one if it was available.

by the way, I have a BX2360 with 60"MMM and FEL and Landpride BB0548 . Already cut the boots on the tie-rod ends.
I scraped mine off 2000 hrs ago. Not worrying about it has been 100% effective.

Just a comment - Kubota had so many problems with the BX24 and its various components - such as the tractor body- the shift knobs coming off - the screen cover warping, etc - although they updated or made repair parts to fix the problems (if you checked around and found out in time) however people like myself who didn't know, got stuck with the problems. They should have notified every owner of the problems and sent the repairs to fix the problems! Other than the problems - I love the tractor!

Maybe they should change the color. Maybe paint them a pretty green instead of orange! The green tractors look much nicer and have less problems. I have both. Thinking about painting the orange ones green

It is just a shame to see a thread gets side tracked needlessly.

You make a blanket statement with no explanation, presenting it as fact when it is nothing more than your limited experience.

I can accept yu find John Deeres you have owned/used to be more reliable than Kubotas you have owned/used, but that is not what you said.

I have had more trouble with Case, Massey Ferguson and John Deere tractors I have owned/used than Kubotas I have owned/used, but have never nor will I ever say Kubota is better than John Deere/Case/Massey Ferguson or Kioti, LS, Mahindra for that matter. Brand bashing serves no purpose what so ever and in my opinion, puts the validity of the bashers opinion in serious question.

If they are that much better than why not the name JohnDeere Karl? Then not even include a JD in your tractors owned...

My kid set this up for me. He knows how I feel so he gave me that name. Shoulda slapped him but he's alright. Just got back from lowes with 20 cans of Deere paint. Gotta get busy. Not bashing the brand, just saying. Lighten up, jeez

I believe you will find a kindred spirit in case245; might want to PM him him.

My Kubota was a '85 B series, so some thing may have changed. Questions I would ask or things I request, some are generic and apply to any tractor model/brand:

*- Standard rear work lights
- At least a couple tabs on ROPS for work lights
- Standard light wiring and switch option for ROPS lights that fits with other dash switches
*- Standard 2-spool valve set(for TnT or other)
- Horn, or option with buttons that fit dash
- Real working cutting/steering brakes that do not require cruise control or a contortionist to operate
- A couple of spare switches in the dash for optional stuff; no drilling dash, or hanging aftermarket switches under dash

* = first thing I did to B8200; waiting for budget to add to TC40...

Well said as always TripleR:thumbsup:

Cant really add anything other than to say you are not alone. Nothing wrong with having favorites and expressing opinions. But un-factual bashing wont earn any respect. Its no secret that I have my own favorite chainsaw brand:D And do I think they are better than anything else? Absolutly. But that certainly dont make other brands junk and I certainly would not bash another brand just because I dont like it as well as "my favorite"

I believe you will find a kindred spirit in case245; might want to PM him him.

Now thats just down right funny:laughing:

Wow! You wouldn't say what your favorite brand of chainsaw is out loud? Are you trying not to hurt someone's feelings? Do you not express your opinion freely? Is this country that obamma'd up? My favorite saw is Stihl and I'm proud of it! Whoops. Did I say that out loud? Lol!

Wow! You wouldn't say what your favorite brand of chainsaw is out loud?

I never said that. Infact I have said what my favorite is many times.

Are you trying not to hurt someone's feelings?

Its called being respectful.

Do you not express your opinion freely?

Absolutly. And you are entitled to express yours as well. No-one has a problem with that.

Is this country that obamma'd up?

I wont touch that. We have a seperate politics thread. Those discussions belong there and only there out of respect for everyone else and most importantly, the owners of this site.

My favorite saw is Stihl and I'm proud of it! Whoops. Did I say that out loud? Lol!

Nope, that is perfectally okay with me. You have a favorite. You are entitled to say that. What irks others is when you would go on to say stuff like "husqvarna, dolmar, and echos are all junk". Thats bashing and what people on this site dont like to tolerate.

THIS^^^ is bashing. Needless nonsense that people dont like. Now if you have a common problem or issue, by all means feel free to share it. MAybe others have had similar issues and would need the assistance. But please, leave the bashing out of it. You may have problems with ONE kubota tractor. But for your ONE bad experience, there are litteraly millions of happy satisfied kubota owners. So do you think its right that your one-in-a-million issue makes kubota a bad brand and deserving of your needless and (so far) unfounded bashing?

Did you lose your sense of humor recently or has it been gone for awhile? C'mon man. Chuckle once in awhile. Poke fun at yourself and others. Life's short. Enjoy!! I'll try to keep my color choice to myself from now on.

Karl, what you seem to be failing to understand is that pointless brand bashing is not funny to us. We have heard this "joke" a million times over. Every now and then, it can be cute to take a dig at somebody's tractor brand, if the context is right. But in this case, all you have done is inject your brand bashing into what was otherwise a useful and informative thread. This may be the funniest joke in the world to you, but the rest of us are telling you that we don't find it funny. Maybe it's not our sense of humor that is at fault.
