54 here and rain is coming this afternoon & tomorrow.

I'm headed to Denver for a few days of training & sales meetings. Should be fun. I picked up 54 bales of hay and got them put up yesterday. I did not finish bush-hogging, I might try to finish before I leave for Denver (might not though).

Roy, I feel your pain my friend! I'm on day 10 and still fighting, thought I was better Thursday and Friday then Friday night my throat started burning again like a week eralier and it started all over!

Got my electric run to one of my buildings yesterday, cold and all. Digging trenches is a blast! NOT!

Good Morning! Yea, 69 degrees this morning, with the high only in the 80s. Had 2" of rain over the course of the weekend and even mowed without goggles and a dust mask. I have soooo much tractor work to do around here but the paver project is calling for completion before Christmas. (My completed dates are only bad estimates so don't forget your gloves Ron.)

After my morning run I hope to finish framing and rebaring the second half of the compass circle for a pour Tuesday.

I have a insurance inspection scheduled at my wife's shop this am. Never went thru this, might be interesting. Or not.

May be a dumb question, but is the inspector an actual agent of the company or just a private contractor, and do you have to pay for the process?

Another rainy day here in Scotland.

Last night when I put new sheets on the bed I doubled my 4.5 tog quilt up with the other 4.5 tog quilt (they both clip together to increase thickness if required, or can be used separately) to make a 9 tog quilt now the weather is getting increasingly cold.

I have to say, I slept much better last night than I have in ages.

I have to say, I slept much better last night than I have in ages.

Ho-hum, your life must be rather bland if that is the high point of your day. Suggest you get out and do some real work and you will sleep better every night.

Yesterday:

Wash wife's car
Clean numerous throw rugs
Clean 150 feet of gutters
Clean up garden plot (3 hours)
Spray pumpkin vines
Pile up brushpile with Deere and salvage lumberfrom pile
Prep crock pot chili
Finish new garage exterior workbench
Powerwash smaller deck in preparation for sanding and staining


Yes, I slept just great last night.

The inspector just left. He is paid by the insurance company, but is a contractor. I guess it is the insurance guys CYA.
