i thank you for the chat. look what we do for the tractor guys and girls. for the last 13yrs we made loaders for $1500 if you buy a tractor here. and $1800 if you bring your tractor to me that you did not buy here.they are $1800 shipped to you plus shipping.and our loader is made of standard parts. so you can buy a part 200 yrs from now any where and not get RAPED........ not all guys and girls can buy new. and some can't buy at all....so i can help them.i have tractors that are $2000 that you can do a lot of work with.that is why i like yanmar the parts are so much less. Thanks

so we are half that for a heavier loader.with shipping save $$$$$$2100

This is my only point of concern honestly. When i emailed requesting price quote shipped and specs as well. I was flat out told that there really arent any specs. This bothers me as i would really like to know things like breakout force, lift height, dig depth, and roll back angle...

You are the only loader manufacturer, that i have come across in my search, that does not provide this.

Having said that, price plays a huge role right now which makes the investment all the more important to be wise with.

What about warranty?

Ummmm, kind of a strange reply. I was kind of joking after this heated exchange was given. I said nothing about anyside i was on or anything. But to answer your question, not totally. I need to get a will, but i do have insurance in case of death to help cover my widow. Does that answer your qestion the way you want??

about coldwater web sit...we did not see a lot big thing from it.and are web guy move on so that way it is not updated.some time the web can be a pain in the backside.we stell sell a lot of tractor and loader with out it being updated so way pay a web guy.........so that way

That makes sense. Keeping somebody around for the web could be very difficult, especially if you are trying to keep the cost of your products low.

Is there any way to list on your website (or in posts, when asked) the detailed specs that other manufacturers list for their products? You probably have alot to offer. And I agree your prices are attention getting.

As a newbie, with the projects I have to do, your tractors not having HST wouldn't work for my needs. However, if your loaders are truly competitve in strength and ability, people could buy the tractor somewhere else and get a loader from you.

Like, the OP, for instance...

Madmax, I have been to their shop a couple of times. Small operation, but the loaders look good. I would expect with your tractor without loaded tires, and a few hundred pounds on the 3ph, it will be lifting the wheels off the ground. I also think that with the size of their operation they are not equipted to be able to "spec test" for each model tractor that they build these for since each model tractor would have different attachment points, with different lift arms. I see them on most of the Yanmars for sale around here, and I like the "off the shelf" parts as well. I am saving my bucks for one to be installed this winter. Seem to be nice guys to work with, but have not swapped any bucks with them yet.

Hey, Coldwater (and all)

FWIW, I came across one of your loaders through a strange series of events. It was located at a VN importer nearly 7 years ago, and sitting on a pallet. They used you're loaders almost exclusively down here in S.E. Tx, but were willing to part with it for $1500. This was before (or during) their switch to V-Tek (or Bulldog) loaders were used, and to replace your product. Everything was there except the base platform which I fabricated myself and installed it on a YM1601D.

After purchasing slightly over 2 acres, a full third which was swampy south TX property in the flood plane, it was crystal clear that two weekend rentals using a Bobcat skid steer, that I could by a Yanmar and your loader and do it all for the same money. And, a quick phone call to your company to verify it was, indeed your loader (I chatted with a lady who was quite knowledgeable and wish I could remember her name?), I paid them their money...

7 years later, and after building two, very large foundation sites for my home and shop, 12 dump trucks of road base and crushed concrete for the gravel drive way, laid re-bar, poured slabs and emptied an abandoned horse pond my only complaint was it had a 42" bucket as the 48" wasn't available (from the VN importer). I have broken nearly all of the zerk fittings, worn out and burst two hydraulic hoses, and put the loader through pure purgatory and, I'm sure, worked it way past it's design limitations. Other than the above maintenance items, I managed to tear the bucket from loading and removing large 'chunks' of buried concrete chained to the loader. Your product has moaned, groaned and begged for early retirement, yet still works the way it did all those years ago. Never a cracked or broken weld on the arms and cross members, no signs of significant wear, and NO regrets.

If I ever needed another loader I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one from you.

That's cool. They probably build great loaders. Specs seem to be kind of important, though. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to give some sort of performance measure...

Daves tractor posted a YouTube video of a max 22/25 lifting and curling the rear end of a forklift. In the video, he had a "scale" indicating max lift lbs and breakout force lbs. That turns up easy in a YouTube search. John deere also has videos on YouTube doing very much the same thing comparing deere and Kubota bx.

Couldn't coldwater do the same?

I didn't understand all the "attitude" I got back in his replies. Some people own many tractors. If I have questions about his products, why not treat me with respect, and answer my questions.

Even now, he is not answering the OP. And the OP has the advertisers "preferred" tractor. You would think the OP's question/situation is the ideal one for the advertiser...and one of the easiest to answer.

So, why not just answer him?

Now THAT was wicked COOL! Very nicely done!

U obviously build very good loaders.

I don't think the tractors u sell would have been appropriate for me, as a newbie and with my projects. But if they are setup by u guys, I bet they are great for someone who can run the gears fine.

And your loader looks great!

I know they're not available, but if u r able, in the future, I would love to see what your various loaders spec out at.

I wish you success in your business and in saving customers money, with a quality product.
