I am still in the window shopping and comparison mode, and have been looking at LS from a distance (nearest LS dealer is in Mineral VA with no website)
I have a small piece of property, less than 5 acres, so I am looking at the CUTs 28-42 hp with FEL, and prefer Hydrostatic. I would be movin trees, mowing the field, grading the driveway, and pushing snow.
So I have been reading reviews and specs online, and comparing to Kubota, MF, Bobcat, Yanmar, and Deere. In comparing the various manufacturers websites, some list specs that others don't, maybe that's marketing, or maybe that's an oversight. But I want to make sure that I understand what should be compared.
In reading the forums here, I understand that having rear remotes is a useful feature for a tractor, and, so now I have added that to my comparison spreadsheet. And I'm glad that LS has it on some models. And I also took a closer look at warranty on the other colors as well.
What i would like to see that LS doesn't post in the specs (or if they do, I missed it):
1) how much does the stock Loader/Bucket weigh itself?
2) What is the maximum ground speed?
3) Is the Rear 3 Point rated at Pins, or at 24" behind Pins "Hitch Lift capacity, lb"
4) What is the overall length with FEL, 'bucket on the ground'
5) About how many inches in length / width / height do the Indust R4 or the Turf Tires add or subtract vs the Ag tires
for #1, I want to calculate what kind of price per lb the complete unit costs. It's just another way of cost estimating or comparison, but I am fully cognizant that price also needs to be balanced against the features and intangibles in the total comparison. In the website(s) MSRP across the various colors or brands, I see between $4.62 per lb, up to $8.85 per lb. Actual negotiated price come later.
I know that none of the mfg websites have a dimension for #4 & #5, but that would be helpful for storage (is my 'tractor house' big enough)or trailering (is this trailer long enough). It wouldn't have to be exact, plus or minus an inch is fine for me. (I'm looking to build a shed "tbd tractor house", but that's a different topic)
If anyone has answers to the above, my current comparison spreadsheet has the following LS models:
J2030
G3033H
G3038H
R3039H
R4041H
R4047H .. *yeah its more horses, but almost same # & $ as the 41H
