safety switch problem

Greetings.... I have John Deere X320. I tried to start it and it would not start. No spark. I disconnected the black wire on the right side of the engine, and I am able to start it.... but now, I do not have any PTO.... so, I can't mow. Tried to plug the wire back in with it running, but it cuts of the engine when I plug it in.

Any idea where the relay is located, or what I should be looking to replace? It may just be under the housing, but I figured before I go ahead and dismantle everything, I would try to consult with those who know a heck of a lot more than I do!!!

My MTD Pro ZT would not start and tracked it down to a safety switch on the parking brake. It had come loose from the from and when the brake was throw it wasn't fully depressing the safety switch. There are several safety switches you need to check. I wouldn't bypass any of them permantly. They are there for a reason.
