Kubota B2320
What have people payed recently in ME and NH? I'm looking at the 2920 now, but would be interested in other B series. I've been quoted 16,700, 16,800, and 16,900 at two Maine and one NH dealer for tractor and loader. Any dealer suggestions would be welcome as well.

Thanks for your help!

Paid $15400 for tractor and front loader in December, though it was a bit further south in Virginia.

"interested in other b series"

i am not that far north, but live in north pa. looked at a b3300su (just a bit bigger then the b2920) and price is $16,280 plus the taxes and other fees. this price includes the tractor with fel, tires loaded, and chain hooks on the bucket.

Was that the price after the 1,000 rebate or with 0% financing?

Those quotes for a B2920 seem about right. I think I was quoted in the 16k range a few weeks ago in NH. I was also quoted $17800 for a B3200 which sealed my decision.

I paid cash, but don't think the rebate was as high as $1000 back then -- maybe more like $500 or $700.

Yes i believe it was the low 16s. I would confirm but I threw the quote papers I got away when I ordered the 3200 :)

There is a tempting jump between the 2920 and 3200, which gives a lot more capability for not too much more money, and I agonized over that quite a bit. Turns out that the 2920 engine is a lot smoother (it's a 3-cyl versus 4-cyl on the 3200) and that swayed me to stick with the 2920.

Tractor size factored in as well, since the 2920 seemed big enough as it was, with the 3200 even bigger. But that was just because I was used to my little Deere. Now that I have lived with the 2920 for a few months it seems a lot smaller, so that 3200 probably would have been fine.

The jump from 2620 to 2920 to 3200 definitely takes some consideration. If a buyer is not careful, it would be easy to keep on going into an L series .....

Yup, that's how it is designed. Stair step right up there!! Kubota has sooooo many models of small tractors that this thing flows, right from the BX1860 right on up to an L. It's always just a few dollars more. :D

This is exactly the decision process I went through. I started looking at the 23/26/2920. When I sat on them i thought they felt the right size, sat on the 3200 thought it was too much... but then tried to think a few years down the road.

Kubota do make it easy to upsize your requirements though.

Which MB Tractor location? I think I changed my mind to the 3200 as well. :) Can you tell me what you payed and if you took financing or cash incentive? Any recommendation on a sales person there?

Thanks!

Also check chappell tractor they have a good reputation in that area. I priced a new b2920 with a bh and it was around 12% off msrp as listed on the kubota site. I ended up going with a lightly used one instead to save a few thousand.

I got a quote of $25,100 just the other day for the following

B3200 with LA504 loader
loaded R4 tires
Kubota quick coupler on loader
BH77 backhoe

The tractor with loader was $17,400 - backhoe adds $8000

I'm wondering now though about going to a B3030.

Anybody have any pricing on a B3030 - and know what the differences are between
the B3200 and the B3030?

Plaistow, NH location. The entire package I ordered was $22k, but the tractor and FEL run about $17800. I ended up deciding on financing due to the 0% and the Kubota Insuance. As for salespersons I had been there about 4-5 times before finally ordering so I am sure they were sick of me. I had dealt with both Jeff and Scott, both are extremely knowledgeable.

Definitely be sure to test drive both -- I found the 3200's engine to be a lot rougher and less refined feeling, which makes sense given the different cylinder counts between the two. Not a showstopper, but noticeable for sure.

Then again, maybe test drive the 3200 first, and if you like it, don't drive the 2920 or 2620. Leave well enough alone!

Some of the differences I can think of off the top of my head..... I'll probably forget a few. The B2630 and B3030 have the same wheelbase as the B3200, but are considered 'deluxe' models.

B3030 has:

Hydrostatic steering
Tilt steering column
suspension seat w/arm rests
position control on the 3ph
hydraulic PTO clutch
no clutch between engine / transaxle
extendable lower 3ph arms
telescoping sway links
cruise control
Backhoe less integrated w/ seperate operators seat

B3200

Steering box w/power assist
fixed steering column
basic seat
quarter inching 3ph
clutch
fixed 3ph lower arms
turnbuckle style sway links
cruise control ???? not sure .....
backhoe more integrated with single operators seat that swivels to operate hoe.
clutch between
