Hi Guys: Read all the previous threads about pin on hydraulic thumbs. Tried to e-mail Northsaw but it got bounced back. Who makes the one for DEERE? Any others you can recommend?

Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks CurlyDave! Does it get in your way when not in use?

I have never had it interfere with any operation.

If I don't use it for several weeks, the hydraulic cylinder will leak down a bit, and I have to retract it before starting to dig, but this is normal, and happens to all hydraulic cylinders. I do not have to leave the seat, and it takes about 3 seconds, 2 of which are figuring out which way is up on the treadle and which way is down.

What kind of money are we talking about for a 110 without rear aux hydraulics?

I depends on the options. I make heavy duty cushioned cylinders and thumbs which cost a little more but are construction quality, or there are less expensive alternatives. I don't offer hydraulic kits if you don't have aux hydraulics but I have installed them on my own excavator.

You can add the 7th auxillary valve on your backhoe for about $300 plus the cost of the hoses. Go to jdparts.com
