New RTV500

Another happy Barlow purchase. This is the third item I have purchased from Brady and they all went smoothly

I actually took delivery the middle of January but I wanted to clean it up before taking some pics for TBN. It got pretty dirty in transit from Kentucky to Connecticut. The weather has not been good enough until this weekend for me to get the hose out and clean it up.

The only weird thing is the steering wheel does not appear to be centered? I know with tractors the streering wheel basically spins due to the way the power steering works but I do not believe the RTV500 steering works the same way. I need to find out how to remove the wheel to correct it. Anybody know how to do it?

Actually the garage is deep enough to park the RTV in front of the wife's Sebring Conv. The garage is 24 x 32 so it is like a 3 car garage with the door on the wrong end so plenty of space in the back behind the two cars. I actually had 3 cars plus the RTV in there at one point. One car was sideways in the back of the garage on car dollies. Down to just two cars now though.

Very nice...I loved my 500...Centering the wheel is easy, lift pull the plastic cap, remove the wheel nut and pull the steering wheel off, might might some very light "help".....Make sure you're tires are straight and re-install..Might take a couple of tries if you're going for perfection.

Will attempt to align the steering wheel this weekend. Brady sent me the same instructions and it sounds pretty easy.

I do plan on adding a bunch of accessories to it. I already picked up a Viper winch from eBay. I just need to get the winch mount. I will also be adding the factory brush gaurd and glass windshield. The temporary windshield I have on the front now will become the back window. There are also some nice mirrors on eBay that I will be picking up.

Once I get it dressed out I will put up some more pics. It will probably be in a month or so when I get everything I want added to it.

I did not test drive a 400 as I knew the 500 was what I wanted. I actually like the gas engine as it is very quiet unlike the bigger brother diesel versions.
