You do excellent work and it just shows your dedication for helping others by taking the time to take pictures and describe what you did step by step. Thanks also for your review of your new L5740. It swayed my decision to go new and now I have one in my garage too! Looking forward to reading about your next project, and I'd love to see a vid of that 5740 throwing some snow! I've got a blower for mine, but the way things are going here in NY, I might have to wait until next winter to play in the snow.

Thanks for posting the data about the tractor hydraulics. We never did find the cause, but he said it is working OK now. It was a mystery.

CONGRATULATIONS PAUL !! Yes, you certainly do deserve it. My project goal over my many years, has been to "get the darn job done"! Move it along, do a half decent job, slap on a little paint and if it does the job, great.

After watching, following and observing your various projects and realizing the absolute pride you must get from your "careful" work, . . I have been very much "Inspired" by you, to slow down, take my time, spend more time on the careful details,...take the time to go back and correct a problem, rather than pick up a ball-peen and whack it into place.

Years ago I was told: If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well! If it's not worth doing well,..it's not worth doing. Well Paul, after observing your projects, it suddenly dawned on me,..the very value of that statement.

You must be very proud of your various projects because "I'm" very proud of your projects,.... and I am beginning to feel proud of some of my projects as you inspire me along. I too plan to visit Bay Roberts (and the rest of your friendly island)"someday" I hope!!

Thanks buddy and congrats to you on your new 5740. They are a fantastic machine. Its great to hear from people who liked my posts enough to actually go out and purchase the same product. I would never indorse a product that didn't meet my expectations and the Kubota Grand L 5740 have exceeded mine.
I'm planning on doing a new video soon on the new tractor but been holding off for some real snow. We have had snow but not enough to really make the 5740 shine but we will get that snow and I will make a video so stay tuned. Thanks again for your kind words on my work. :thumbsup:

Thanks J_J . When I got the PM from you on the hydraulic issue I knew it had to be done. Your one of the members on here that everyone looks up to and to me your on the top shelf. If the posters hydraulic problem wasn't worked out it wasn't due to lack of trying on your part.

Well thanks Tug! That means allot to me my friend. It really do. I think we're all guilty of putting the rush on things from time to time. I made my mind up a long time ago I wasn't doing that anymore. My late dad was a perfectionist. When it came to carpentry he was considered a craftsman but he excelled at just about everything else as well. He's been gone for over 25 years now and every time I'm restoring or fabricating I get the feeling he's watching over me telling me I can do it better so I don't want to disappoint him :laughing:

I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. It took some thought to do it. When someone like yourself says I've made a difference to the way they work well that's just the ultimate.

One little thing that I do ask myself before I start any fabrication that may work for others is " How can I do this so that when it's completed it look like OEM equipment"? With that question in mind I start the project.

Well, Well, Well what a pleasant surprise! Welcome to the greatest tractor site in the world my friend. Folks this guy is actually a true friend of mine. We have done business together for many many years and our business relationship have blossomed into a friendship most could only wish for. His grandfather was responsible for Newfoundland actually joining Canada. Yes it's very true.

BelarusBulldog has got as his name implies a Belarus tractor and he's done some great mods to it. It's a beast.

2011 will be most remembered in my mind for two events. The high was when my son returned safely from Afghanistan.

The low was when Belarus Bulldog's dad passed away. Although his dad was much older than me I considered him one of the all time best friends I had. His dad would come into the shop and stay for hours watching me work on his vehicles and equipment. He was like family here. My wife would even get his breakfast for him and he would eat it sitting on a stool and using my tool box for a place to lay it down. Oh the memories He was a great man
