simplicity landlord system 7010
Anybody know how the traction control works on the old 70's landlords? the manual says it has it but I don't think it's working right still doing one wheel wonders :-(

It has a spring loaded limited slip differential in the right rear axle.

Right it powers both wheels until you turn but how does it disengage when turning

It compresses the springs when under force, allowing the differenential gears to disengage. You can put a washer under each spring to shim them, increasing the amount of force required before the gears disengage.

Or, you can replace the springs with new ones. Over time, these springs weaken...

That's awesome I took it all apart and cleaned the 20 year old grease out and put new in that got it working better but I will defiantly try the washers thanks for the tip
