MX5100 or 5000 3pt category?

Hi, I have a 2005 MX5000 and the book says it is category I/II. I am in the process of making a tipping box and need to know how wide to make the lower links.

Cat 1 is 26" wide, Cat 2 is 32.5" wide. What should I do?

It will be mostly used for firewood gathering, but sometimes I might put a water tank on it.

If your tractor is similar to my M4900 with the Cat ll balls(1 1/8 dia. hole) and the pin type adjustable side sway bars I'd build the tipping box to Cat ll spec's.

I agree with this, I have a MX5100 with the Cat I/II 3 point hitch. It will handle the larger box just fine.
