Kubota BX22
Hello everyone, I thought I would join this forum to post a question/problem I am having with my BX22. It's about 5 years old. While sitting idle (not running) my wife discovered that the yellow signal lights were flashing. She tried to turn off any switches but nothing worked. After giving up trying to stop the flashing lights she just let the bx22 flash until the battery died.

I came home and removed the battery, charged it to 75% and re-installed the battery. I unplugged all of the wires going to the rocker switches on the face panel. The BX22 started normally. However now when I turn it off, I now have the left rear signal light and warning light full on. The left head light has a glow coming from it. The only fuse that seems to take care of extinguishing the lights is the one marked H/LP. Not sure what this does. I also noticed that the fuel gage no longer works.

Any ideas or should I just go for a service call?
Thanks

second the replace the switch. These are known to get wet and short out.

Moisture and BX exposed switches on the older models do this...

You might try compressed air or carefully with a blow dryer on low... just be careful not to melt anything.

I've had the same problem with my bx-23. I took the switch apart and filled it with dielectric grease to help keep the water out. It has helped.

I had to replace the switch on my BX2200.

Yea my 23 does some funky stuff when it gets wet, i park it in the garage so it always dries out, but time to time ...its seems to always start with the flashers though.

Same here..I just pull the wires off the switch for the night and all is good the next day...Washing or leaving the machine in the rain will cause this every time.

Mine stays indoors, but I get this when I wash it..Thinking of getting marine switches one of these days.
