I was working night shift locally and hadn't eaten before most of the decent food establishments closed, and the only thing around was a taco bell, drive thru. Since you can't put a rig in most drive thru's, I parked right across from the drive in window and walked up. They would not serve me, saying it was drive thru only. Sooooo... I backed into the lane from the street with the truck (which had curbs to prevent people from cutting in line) and tried to order. At that point they wanted me to place my order at the order station rather than at the pickup window. I told them that wasn't possible, so they said it was "company policy", and I told them what my "personal policy" was, which was to never grace those doors again. (And haven't!!!). Good help is hard to get!
As far as putting the gas filler lids back on the rear of vehicles in the center, there was a good reason they moved them to the side, and I doubt convience is going to convience them to move them back to the high impact area of the rear bumper, which subjects a vehicle owner to an explosion risk everytime somebody hits them in the rear, especially nowadays with cell phones and texting increasing the risks of being hit in the rear when you touch your brakes.
