Very unique tractor. Wish I could turn the operator platform around on mine for bush hogging and such. NEGATIVES: I dont like the center hump that you have to get across to sit down though, looks like it would be tough to get your feet across all those gear shifts and pedals.

electrarc,

Neat machines! If I had hills, that machine might come in pretty handy.

Gary you are correct. The center hump did take a little getting used to. After a while I found that there is a "Trick" to it and now it is easier. But after using it both ways it is so great to see the implement and what is going on without twisting my back and neck.:D

Neat tractor. Is the Cobram Ferrari's own design, or a rebadged Carraro or Goldoni?
http://www.antoniocarraro.it/na
GOLDONI S.p.A. - Tecnologia per passione - PRODOTTI

BCS, Ferrari, and Pasquali are the same company now. Now days it is just the cosmetics and the color that is different. The finish on the Ferrari is great and the customer support is fantastic. I looked at buying a Antinio Carraro but the dealer was too hard to get along with, could not even give me photos of the model I wanted.

The max torque of the engine is @1400 rpm and I have the PTO set to 750 range. Digital readout says the PTO is running at 500 rpm @1400 engine RPM. If I am running at a higher ground speed I increase engine rpm to get a PTO speed of 540.:)

Very interesting. I thought that machine may have a 2 speed pto! Very cool!

Are you in the US? I think this configuration of a tractor could become very popular here.

There are grazing animals suited for terrain like that. They're called sheep. I thought someone from Australia would know that.:laughing:

Skippies, I like that. Never heard them called that before.

I just brushed up on Australian slang, I particularly liked: shark biscuit, two pot screamer, figjam, sheep shagger, and swamp donkey.

Could not help but notice every third, or forth slang word on the list I read was a different term for an idiot? :D
