Attachment shows part of the 10 foot square office I built in my basement, a friend of mine used to go to auctions all the time and buy stuff by the truckload, I helped him pick things up and store them in his pole barn, he told me to take anything I wanted. This is Haworth brand movable office system equipment. Being a computer hardware junkie, I wanted to show off my system too.

Love the toy JDs on the shelf. Looks like a good spot to be when you don't have a better spot to be.

What home office??? I just have a laptop and external wireless router antennae, so the whole property is wireless! I work/surf/research where I like, be it living-room, bedroom, front porch, etc. The printer just sits on a random shelf and I access it through the local network.

Not neat, not fancy, but I do my work here.

Looks neater than 90% of my entire house, my wife is a wonderful person but a hoarder and a pack rat.... why do neatniks always seem to marry someone the opposite?

Not neat? :confused2: Let's see, tidy shelves with nice, neat stacks so you can retrieve what you want, bulletin board for organized notes, and any uncatalogued errata in locations easily accessed while keeping the main work surface open. I see you even have a award hanging on your bulletin board for office organization. :D

I purchased this desk and computer four years ago so I could have a home office upstairs, and my wife hijacked it...compare this picture to the one I started the thread with....

I think he means like $30K and up, you can buy any toy you want.

JB

Actually, when the annual Ag Expo rolls around here at the MSU campus, there is a always a huge tent with a vendor that has THOUSANDS of toy tractor collectibles of all brands. There have to be many online sites that sell them also.

I'll play! :)

We finished construction almost two years ago and still haven't put a single thing on the wall. Anyone know how to decorate??

It's nothing special but it does make for a good (work space) tax write-off, and a good place to do bills and such.
