Carb question about JD 140

I recently purchased a JD 140 with a Kohler K301 that came with a loader attachment. Its a great machine except for a few small issues, the main one is it leaks gas. I need to rebuild the carb. But I heard that these tractors came with one of two different carbs. One is a Walbro that is clearly marked, one is not marked and is not a Walbro. Well I have the one with no markings on it, anyone know what make it is, and maybe somewhere on the net I can order a kit for it? I have also posted some photos if maybe someone can help me out with the year of my new JD, cause I really have no idea how old it may be, im guessing 70's. When I bought this machine, I bought it for just the loader (loader is only a few years old) to put on another tractor, but have since grown to like it and plan on fixing it up a little to use it as it is.

i just went through the same issue, what i learned, the original carb is a hohler/carter carb, you determine this by locating a K on the inside of the throttle plate/butterfly, the walbro is clearly marked on the outside of the unit. you determine the size by looking inside Both carbs. there is a # at the rear of them. Take tthe #'s off your motor and go to J/D as mentioned, about $325.00 here in canada, ebay has tons of them, or seek a roadside replacement.
