Here is a neat little remote control slope mower, that one could use when the slope was a bit much.

The first one has a much lower center of gravity versus the one posted last year. One of those actually overturned on a steep slope and rolled down the hill killing the operator who was standing directly beneath it. The second one is more in that category.

In the picture of the Irus the operator is standing close and downhill. One slip of the thumb and he's toast.

See this often is in unpaved road situations where a spotter wants to stand downhill of a 4x4 that's in a "poor traction" position. I can't imagine somebody actually standing downhill anywhere close to a "grass blender" as you describe... (Darwinism at work)
