Tractor
Kioti CK20S
Bought a CK20S HST with FEL today at Little Tractor in Metropolis IL. Bet there were 200 people there for their open house. I looked at the CK27 but the extra money and the extra size that I just do not need did not compute. To his credit the salesman pointed out the same weaknesses on the CK20 that TBN forum members have. Two speed Hydro instead of three was the main point. He said and I agree that a three speed would make the tractor perfect. He also said he didn't think they would ever put one on the 20.

They said they would call to set up a delivery time next week. I will probably have them wait until the week after next so I will be home from work ( retired ) for good.

We walked around back to look at a blade and I bet they had between 100 and 150 tractors sitting back there.

Good purchase, RSKY. A purchase you will enjoy for sure. I've had my CK30 for year and half now. On the one hand, I cannot believe I waited so long to get one, but on the other hand, I am glad I waited long enough to learn about Kioti. I really think they have a good product here. And now it is sorta like shoes....you can choose your color....but i still like the Orange one.

I have the CK20 HST and love it. It's a tough little machine. I think you'll enjoy it. I have to get a bigger tractor for some land we just bought and based on this one I'm going with another Kioti.

Congratulations and good luck with it.

FWIW, I bought a grapple from the folks at Little Tractor, and they installed on my John Deere. I was really impressed at their customer service, especially since I was not buying a tractor, just the grapple. I had a bit of warranty work done, and they were very accomodating and helpful.

Good luck with the retirement RSKY.

congrats- you won't be sorry. Little sold my 2004 CK20HST TLB to the original owner here in NY, I bought it with 47hrs on it, haven't regretted it for a second. Good choice.

Your journey has just begun! Enjoy!

After help here deciding what to buy, I then had to Learn to weld and start making my own implements..

I bought my kioti ck30 w/backhoe in 2005. It has been a dream! Starts right up every time and is a horse for it's size.

I would buy the same tractor again! Though I do get a feeling every time I see a dk45.. I keep telling me, it's too big, to big, too big.. I want it, I want it, I want it..

Way to go!
I fell in love with the CK20 2 years ago I thought it was a Kubota (i have had 3 kubotas) they are good tractors but couldn't get Kioti out of my head. I finaly got the money to purchase a larger tractor this winter and was looking for a CK20 or CK30 but my dealer BOS Equipment in Dorchester ont. found me a private deal on a CK30 HST with 42 hrs $16k no tax. :)
Enjoy
