I thought I should start this under a new thread.
I have received a campaign about the steering cylinder mounts on the right side of the machine being mounted backwards, which I posted on another thread. But, there was also another thing included with that campaign, the lower hose is rubbing the control lever on the pump assembly, to the point where it may fail. These include the following machines:
MFGC2600 1st-JVC93222
MFGC2610 1st-JVC93224
MFGC2400 1st-JVC03213
MFGC2410 1st-JVC03221
Mine has the hose, and the mount issue. The hose is nearly wore through at only 40hrs!
Just wanted to give you all a heads up:thumbsup:.

Thanks Wacky,

Looks like I'm one of those serial numbers. I checked on it today and sure enough mine is also just about rubbed through. Is this a notification you received in the mail? Should I wait until I receive something or call my dealer or fix it myself? I only have 29 hours.

This reminds me of when some of the original 2300's had the excess end of the throttle cable left too long. It would poke the upper radiator hose until it leaked.

Wacky, I have JUC04114, and just checked it. The throttle linkage has been rubbing the lower radiator hose. After 86 hrs, there's some wear on the hose, so I added another tie wrap to keep the hose away. I think all GC owners may want to check this one. Thanks for passing this info. along to us.

It sounded as though this fix only applied to 2400 and 2600-series tractors, but I just took a look at my 2310 to be sure....

They did use a different set-up on 2300-series models, so we don't have anything to worry about...:)

Good to know, in any case.
