Ugliest Car GM ever built

The 68 and 69 Javelin and AMX were cool looking cars. A friend of the family had a '68, with a balanced and blueprinted 360, with 401 heads. 727 manual shift reverse valve body, and a 3.55 posi. That car got with it, and sounded good!

The Matador X could look nice if it was shod with wheels that filled the wheel wells. Bobby Allison's stocker looked good, I thought.
I like anything AMC though. :thumbsup:

This one rises to top of my list: 83 Seville, looks like it was rear ended, from the factory.

I can't Imagine what they were thinking. :confused3:

My father who at the time lived in San Diego had a new one (diesel) not sure if it was that year but it looked like a poor attempt to copy a Rolls or Bentley with the squashed trunk, he had a second fuel tank installed and would drive down to Tijuana and fill up both tanks for the equivelent of 0.18 cents a gallon.

To me the fish-bowl looking Pacer was ugly. Funny I actually thought the Matador looked alright.

As for GM however, the Citation has always made me gag.

It looks mostly Hudson but the rest is anybody's guess!!!!!!! But I'd sure like to have that A(?)touring, Desoto(?) or Packard(?) in the backgrounds

That could be a pretty innovative design. Consider a tractor unit with interchangeable bodies for different uses.:thumbsup:

Steering would need some work with the articulated design.

Sheet metal looks can always be altered.:thumbsup:

Those don't look too different from other cars; Torino's, '66 Charger, similar lines to the early Barracuda's.

AMC did have a gem; those early Javelins and AMX's were sweet looking.

I would have to say the Pontiac Aztec wins hands down. It's hard to believe the same company that brings us the Corvette could make such a ghey looking POS.

I was not trying to dig up old bones. This was a long thread so I skipped reading through all of em and just threw my 2 cents in. LOL. When I saw "ugly GM car" the word "Aztec" was the 1st thing that popped in my head. :laughing:

Agree 100 percent Aztec is the first thing that comes to mind when I think "ugly GM car" especially the ones that are that hideous mustard yeller color...
