Mowing brush cutter for B6100HST 2wd

I have a 1985 B6100HST 2wd Kubota with a 48 inch 3 blade belly mower. I want to buy a brush cutter for this tractor. The manual says that it is only a 14hp motor and recommends a 42 inch (300lb) single blade rotary mower. It handles the belly mower fine. Will it handle a 48 inch brush cutter???
